Walking towards her cubicle, Anushi told Tiasha, “I believe if you have your workstation next to me, it would be good. Will you be fine with that, Tiasha?”

Tiasha thought for a second. As per the rule that Bollywood taught her, she should have said no. She should have stayed away from her boss. However, breaking that rule in her mind in that millisecond, she replied, “Of course. That would be absolutely fine, Anushi.” Both of them smiled at each other.

There were positive feelings immediately floating between them.

Placing her bag on the desk, Tiasha felt comfortable sitting at her workstation. The cubicles were spacious and comfortable. The feeling was even more spacious. To have one’s own room, to have one’s own space in itself is a matter of comfort, isn’t it?

While they sat, Anushi noticed the seriousness and some anxiety on Tiasha’s face. Being in the company for three years and having survived the corporate culture for the previous five years, she did understand that the atmosphere at times could be overwhelming. However, she knew preaching anything at that moment wouldn’t help. She just observed and kept it to herself.
